Shelby Township is located in Macomb County and conveniently accessible to the entire southeast Michigan region and encompasses nearly 35 square mile of land and has a diverse land use pattern that include a mixture of residential, commercial industrial districts. The township has a population of approximately 73,000 residents and provides a complete range of public safety and other municipal services for these residents.
The Township's Police Department utilizes the latest techniques in education, prevention, detection and enforcement. Its members undergo constant training to provide professional law enforcement services.
