Napavine is located in Lewis County in Southwest Washington State. We are centrally located with an hour and a half drive either way, between Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon. Our boundaries include access to Interstate 5, Highway 508, Highway 603 and Highway 12 E. The Napavine area was settled in the late 1800’s and finally incorporated in 1913. First settled on a hill, since then its growth has spread down the hill to the freeway and extended out on all sides until the city limits encompass about 1,530 acres of land and our population has grown to 1610 citizens.

First settled on a hill, since then its growth has spread down the hill to the freeway and extended out on all sides until the city limits encompass about 1,530 acres of land and our population has grown to 1610 citizens. Where other community expansion has stagnated, our growth continues as families discover our ideal location, excellent schools and community spirit. Napavine has moved from a farmland area to being a bedroom community and most of our population is employed in retail trade or service occupations.
