The City of Rockwall is located approximately 23 miles NE of Dallas along I-30. Rockwall is a vibrant, fast growing community with approximately 35,000 residents.

Benefits
Department pays for uniforms & equipment (except for duty boots), and officer's dry cleaning. Holidays are paid at double time and a half. Vacation accrual: 6.67 hrs/month for first year. Sick accrual: 6.67 hrs/month, unlimited accrual. TMRS retirement-City matches 2 to 1, vested after 5 years. Longevity pay: $5 per month for each year of service. Education pay: $300 Associates, $600 Bachelors, $900 Masters. Health plan: 3 plans to offer; plans include medical, dental and vision in one premium price. Life insurance: Free 1X pay up to $50k through City and 1X pay through TMRS (No MAX).
