Company Overview
The Normandy Police department is a full-service law enforcement agency, providing police services 24-hours a day, 7 days-a-week. We are located within the confines of St. Louis County near the University of Missouri – St. Louis Campus. We serve a population of approximately eight thousand and patrol a geographical area of approximately three square miles. Current agency strength is thirty-two officers and it has a budget of approximately 2.2 million dollars.
Our department endeavors to meet the highest ethical and professional standards, and prides itself on the quality of law enforcement services provided to the citizens of Normandy, and our contract cities consisting of the Village of Pasadena Park, the City of Bellerive Acres, the Village of Glen Echo Park, the City of Greendale, the City of Cool Valley, and Pasadena Hills. We are also state- accredited through the Missouri Police Chief’s Association.
Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
The Normandy Police Department has completed the Missouri Police Chiefs Charitable Foundation (MPCCF) State Certification Program. The Normandy Police Department was the fourteenth (14th) in the state to accomplish Certification, and there are currently thirty (30) other Missouri Police Departments working toward this goal. This program was created to establish a cost effective way to improve and enhance law enforcement as a profession in our state. The standards were developed to reflect current, progressive thinking, modern policing methods and experience of law enforcement practitioners and researchers in Missouri.
