The Salisbury Police Department provides municipal policing services to 31,000 residents within 12 square miles. According to the Chamber of Commerce our daytime population increases to approximately 115,000 due to our robust commercial / retail district, Salisbury University, and Peninsula Regional Medical Center. We are centrally located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore providing access to beautiful local beaches and all the activities that the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean have to offer. We are only a short drive from a number of major metropolitan areas including Washington D.C. , Baltimore Maryland and Norfolk Virginia.
